In class was the first time I ever used Diigo, which is an extension that lets you share links and different articles with groups and others. I don't really like using Diigo because I would rather share links on more social and active platforms like Twitter. However, I did like that Diigo was an add on for Google Chrome and was an easy way to share things. I liked that you can have hashtags that relate to your article, which makes it easier for others to find blogs and articles relating to a certain topic. During my second semester of college all of my classes have to deal with writing; so most of my assignments deal with blog posts, journals, or essays. I enjoy how laid back blogging is because it is a lot easier to write compared to a research paper. I also like how blogging lets you be personal and convey who you are online. Although blogging is a good technic to use as a teacher, I don't feel as I have learned a lot during this blogging process. I used to have my own blog ...
Many of these techniques I never would have thought of as a necessary skill you would need! Good job at explaining them too!!
ReplyDeleteHello Samantha,
ReplyDeleteI really enjoyed your voicethread as it was very informative. I never used or explored Lynda.com before your voice thread. After watching and listening to your voicethread, I learned how much of resource Lynda.com is. I now know that I can learn a lot from Lynda.com, as i learned much from you.
Hey Sam,
ReplyDeleteYour voicethread was so well put together! It was so visually pleasing. I have a few teachers back home who could benefit from taking the same Lynda.com tutorial that you did!
